If you would like to learn more about the services that educational consultants can provide, please visit the Independent Educational Consultants Association, IECA.
Also, I encourage parents to gain self-awareness about the college process by reading books reviewed favorably on IECA and NACAC websites. A recent book on the college process that I would recommend is College Choices: The Economics of Where to Go, When to Go, and How to Pay for It (National Bureau of Economic Research Conference Report) (Hardcover) by Caroline M. Hoxby (Editor)
